You jsut have to train it to part that way. keep parting it untill you get it like you want, and hairspray just where the part is so its hard for the hair to flip back over. Eventually it will get used to being on the one side and it should stay easier

i have the same problem, and this problem is cause by your rosettes it麓s a part of root that grew another way then the rest of your hair but use your iron and go over it many times and it should work after a couple tries.

You need to train your hair to get used to staying in a side part. It probably just isn%26#039;t used to the change. You could take a comb, make the part, then clip it to stay that way and keep it in for a while. After it gets used to that, the side part will probably work out for you.
Reply:I have the some problem! just part your hair in a side part, spray with detangler/ water and just brush repeatedly! after that take a shower but make sure the hair stays in the same possition! after jusst keep brushing and showering every few days and your hair should stay in side form! :)

Sister locks are very small dread locks. Almost like a cross in size between a micro braid and a pixie braid...just dreaded. Double twists, or two strand twists, are very different.

1. 2-strand twists may or may not be locked.

2. if 2-strand twists do lock, they will be much about double or more the size of a sister lock.

I am going for a really drastic look, I know I can pull it off, Ive dyed my hair every color I can think and I%26#039;ve always gotten complements. I want to dye my hair three colors: I want the majority to be a dark color probably very rich dark brown or maybe black, then I want the middle layer to be really vibrant red and lastly I want a chunk of platnuim blonde in the very front. I was wondering a few things. The first being what would be a food cut to go with the coloring? (I have a tear drop shaped face and shoulder length hair) I will probably go to a salon to get this done but I want to be VERY specific so they don%26#039;t mess it up so thats why I%26#039;m asking advice on here. Oh another thing is do you think it would be better to do the dark in the middle and the red underneath instead? Has anyone seen the look I am talking about, or something similar? If you can find pics and send them to me that would help. I looked for some but wasn%26#039;t sure what search terms to use. Thanks for any help! =)

so i re died it and its made the elasticity very poor how can i strenghten it is there any household things that would help because i dont want to straighten my hair and it falls out its only one part that i went over twice but its really bad help i need to fix it!

Im sure there would be something that would help but it wont be that good. Go to tha hiradresser and ask them for strengthing product. It won`t make your hair perfect again though. The only way you can do that is by shaving your hair off and start to grow it again.

Reply:yes, olive oil is very good.. use it once or twice per week, hold it for how long you can in your hair, then wash the hair very good, because is very oily... you can use it simple, or with the yellow part of an egg :)
Reply:First of all, you shouldn%26#039;t have died it so many times. That%26#039;s what is causing it to be so dry and damaged. The best thing I can think of is to call/go see your hairdresser and ask her. She can probably help you fix the damaged parts and give you a product to smooth and hydrate your hair. Reply:go to a professional and don%26#039;t use lots of heat products! Use a deep conditioner or warm olive oil to help condition your frazzled ends. Chi products are good. Don%26#039;t dye it for awhile.

hmm well if you have thick hair you could look gothic with bangs if u have balck hair. If u really want bangs, try sideswept bangs and a straight, glossy, maybe shoulder-langth cut w/ layers and tapering around the face i think would look way good w/ heart-shaped face

my hair is really think and on the tips and basically everything except the hair directly on my head is dry. it used to be really nice and smooth but now its really dry and nasty. i recently cut my hair. its about shoulder length in layers.

what kind of shampoo or products can i use to get it to be smooth.

Reply:Well this sounds weird but it really helps your hair get back in good condition if you sleep in conditioner. Apply conditioner to your hair, wake up the next morning and shampoo and conditioner your hair well. If you do this about three nights a week, your hair will be back to good condition in no time. This really works well for me so I would reccomend it. Also, if you straighten your hair, make sure you use a protecter on it. Hope this helps!

I don%26#039;t know what you%26#039;re buying it for but I know from personal experience that it is a wonderful product for horse, dog, and people (though you may not want to use it every day, as it may make your hair too oily). The company that makes Mane%26#039;n%26#039;Tail also makes a product for hooves that also does wonders on people nails.

It%26#039;ll make your hair thick for those first few days, but then, your hair will get used to it, and turn right back to normal.

And, all that stuff really is, is horse shampoo. =D

OK, I have been keeping my hair relatively long and I%26#039;m thinking of getting a buzz cut today. Is it wise to do so or will the chic I meet tonight (potentially) think its a washed up hair style. Should I go for it? I%26#039;m an average looking guy in my opinion, and I%26#039;m not overweight, 137 lbs, so will the buzz cut fit my body type as well? with some very thick conditioner like biosilk or matrix or sammy, try not to use heat in your hair and if you do make sure you use a heatamer and also some leave in conditioner will help. good luck!

Reply:It%26#039;s hard to answer that question b/c we don%26#039;t know if you have chemicals in your hair or if its natural. I would say the best thing for you to do is to go to a hair salon and either get a recommended treatment and buy the products they used or you can just buy the products a stylist recommends after looking at your hair without getting it done. Im a hairstylist but its no way to give you a right answer without seeing and getting all the symptoms of your hair. If your using some cheap shampoo and conditioner you bought from a store throw it out. I use Catwalk Tigi Oatmeal and Honey its for dry damaged hair it works really well and its smells good. But whatever your using make sure its salon quality meaning you can only get it from a salon or licensed beauty supply store and that it treats the symptoms you are having. Humidity shouldnt make your hair dry frizzy yes but not dry. Usually thats what the winter does. Have you used any chemicals lately? If so thats whats going on. I have alot of different products I use for my hair b/c everytime the season changes, hairstyle changes, color changes, etc you pretty much have to use something different to work with your hair.

Reply:GHD straightners are the best however if you have fine hair they aren%26#039;t the best ones as they go up to very high temperatures which will just fry your hair.

i currently use Remingtons which are great! They are repair and protect with a little green logo on them. They are so good for all sorts of hair types and really do leave your hair shining healthily and the end of it!

Also, the Wella Prostraight works great, my salon uses it but I can%26#039;t seem to find anyone in America that sells it. Sister locks are very small dread locks. Almost like a cross in size between a micro braid and a pixie braid...just dreaded. Double twists, or two strand twists, are very different.

1. 2-strand twists may or may not be locked.

2. if 2-strand twists do lock, they will be much about double or more the size of a sister lock.

If I got my hair relaxed and then dyed it would it be safe? Would it screw my hair up? How much does it usually cost to get it relaxed? Also I am going somewhere for a month will it stay straight for that long without touch ups?

Well relaxing is the same as getting a perm so it should stay straight for a few months.

I wouldnt recomend relaxing and dying at the same time because it might burn or brake your hair. Its too much at one time.

Reply:Relaxing and dying don%26#039;t really mix unless you are doing semi permanent color. If you want permanent hair color then you should not relax it just blow dry and flat iron it. It%26#039;s going to cost you a MINIMUM of $60 to get it relaxed in a good salon. Your relaxer will last as long as it takes for your hair to grow. If your roots grow out faster then a month then it won%26#039;t last that long.

if you have nice strong thick hair then it would be ok.

if you have thin weak hair it may fall out if you have thin hair it would be best to wait at least a few weeks between the dye and relaxing.

the cost depends on where you go to get it (about 75 dollars to 300 dolllars)

it should most likely last at least 6 weeks. until then use shampoo for straight hair and put straigthener products in your hair and limit humidity

I noticed that a lot of girls who go to my College who I thought were blondes sometimes stop dying thier hair and turn out to be like ginger. Its more common that fake blondes are red head than brunnetes in my opinion.

Okay. I have straight hair and I use the curl and pin method. It works really well. I%26#039;ve been asked again and again if it%26#039;s done at a salon.^^

1. Wet hair completely. Towel dry slightly to keep hair from dripping. Add mousse to hair if you like.

2. Taking small locks at a time, twirl the lock of hair tightly around your finger. slide your finger out then take a bobby pin(Two if you need it.) and pin it to your head. Do that to all of your hair.

3. Put hair spray all over your hair. And wait for it to dry completely(Or almost completely if you%26#039;re in a rush) Blowdrying can help it to dry quicker.

4. Once dry remove bobby pins one at a time.

5. Add mousse and hairspray to the curls for extreme hold.

And there you go. Beautiful spiral curls. They should last you all day if not longer. I do this often.

My son will be 18 months and he%26#039;s getting a hair cut we%26#039;re thinking about just having the place shave it off he has very blonde thin curly hair and we%26#039;re hoping if when they shave it it wont come back as curly but more thick. I heard allot of people say that when they cut their children%26#039;s hair it didn%26#039;t grow back the same. also cutting it wont make the color change will it?

It probably wont come back a different color but the curls might not come back. My 14 year old son was born with curly hair and when he was 2, I cut it and his curls never came back his hair grew in darker. I wouldn%26#039;t shave it I would get a really short military style cut if you shave it it could very well grow back wiry and he%26#039;ll have a lot of cow licks it will be heck trying to train his hair to do anything . My 3 year old daughter had dark hair an it turned blond. My son%26#039;s hair was light brown dark blond and by 5 years it was dark brown when he was three my nephew%26#039;s who where older than him gave him a Moe hawk OMG i freaked out . his hair was messed up when it grew back It took me 3 years to manage it after that. don%26#039;t shave your 2 year olds hair I%26#039;d wait till five at least you could get him a buzz cut on top it can be affective for the purpose your shooting for.

Okay, I dyed my hair yesterday [friday] from Medium Brown to Jet Black. It was a Balsam Permanent Dye, Number 618B.

We have our 8th grade field trip on Tuesday and there is going to be a swimming pool there.

Is it okay to swim or no?

Or is there a certain time limit I should swim or what?

if you dyed it black, bleaching it blonde is impossible, it will turn an orangish-red color, if you have black you have to bleach it and don%26#039;t bleach it more than once, it ruins hair like way badly. go to a professional if you seriously want it done.

I dont know what ya%26#039;ll might call it, but we call it kinky hair down south. it comes in packs and looks almost unmanageable, but when you actually work with it, it is not and it braids smoothly. you have to either singe the ends of use hot water and rods to get the effect you see on the ends of her hair.

I always just go to my beauty supply store and ask for %26quot;kinky hair%26quot; or ask for %26quot;hair for kinky twists%26quot;

with natural blond and reddish highlights, and my hair is parted to the right side with like long side-swept bangs. Its boob length. It would help if you put up a pic but I can tell you that a slight wedged hair cut with layers and that is collar bone length is a very flattering cut for most anyone. Highlights and lowlights can also make a huge difference adding depth and definition. It doesn%26#039;t even have to be drastic or anything you could just deepen in your red areas and lighten in your lighter areas.

I%26#039;m not trying to be mean in any way, but I%26#039;m betting that many people on Yahoo Answers will not know the answer to this because none of us are her personal hair stylist! You%26#039;d do better going to a stylist and asking these questions (or better yet, if you like her hair, you could ask the hair stylist to duplicate this look).

Reply:She uses a straighting iron. And that is a layering chop. I have that and i LOVE IT!!!! It not bangs it is a short layer that stops right at the ear.then they get longer by 3 inches till she reaches the end.Hoped I helped:)

i was considering buy the new prue GHD%26#039;s for 拢135, bt i have heard so many storys of fires ete.. caused by earlyer models Has the fult been fixed. is worth 拢135 or is the normal GDH VI better?

I got my Ghd%26#039;s ages ago and they are the best straightners ever, I have never had any problems with them plus if they break they fix them for you or replace them which is great...... I think you should go for it, I dont know alot about the new model so cant really comment on that one

Reply:i shop at a hair retail centre for hair dresses for all my hair needs, i enquired about ghd%26#039;s and they don%26#039;t sell them (they sell every brand going) when i asked why it was because in there 10 years of dealing with hair products they have never had a make where so many people have returned them because of faults.

i too was going to treat myself and like you has never spent much on them but unless you have money to waste i really wouldn%26#039;t bother, i got a wicked pair off eBay brand new for 拢25 they are brilliant just look up professional hair straighteners.

They%26#039;re called Salon Create Pro, but I think you can only order them online.

Hot towel means a towel thats slightly damp and hot and you can do that by dipping it in hot water and throwing it in the microwave or dryer depending on size when you need to rewarm it.
Reply:yea if you are using a deep conditioning treatment the best advice i can tell you is to put it on your head and then put a shower cap then wrap a hot towel from the dryer around your head...the heat helps the treatment get into the hair follicle. If your looking for a really cheap way to do this go to the store any walmart, dollar general etc and go to the ethnic hair section and look for something called cholesterol it comes in a variety of colors, ive seen orange, green, pink, blue...doesnt matter...the stuff looks nasty feels nasty and smells pretty nasty but put it on your hair put a shower cap on and then wrap the hot towel around your head...the longer you leave it on the better results you%26#039;ll get...just make sure after you wash it out that your gonna be home for a night or day and just let your hair dry naturally and dont put any kind of product or heat in your hair...let the treatment do its job...

Also you could put low pig-tails in that come round the front of your shoulders.

My hair is naturally curly, but it goes into a pyramid shape sometimes because the top isn%26#039;t that curly, but the bottom is.

I%26#039;ve seen pictures of me with long hair when I was younger, and it looked better. I%26#039;m thinking about growing it out to my elbows, and it%26#039;s a little past my shoulders right now.

you could try getting it layered or thinned out to help reduce the triangle-ness.
